Biosketch:
Andrea earned a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunolgy at the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center. She has two years of postdoctoral research experience in a protein biochemistry laboratory. She has experience drafting, editing, and successfully submitting research articles to peer-reviewed journals. She also has experience writing small grants to public and private foundations, as well as editing large NIH format grants.
As a Ph.D. scientist, Andrea has had the opportunity to work in an academic research environment for several years. During this time, she has been responsible for drafting, editing, and submitting comprehensive research articles to quality peer-reviewed journals in areas of research including microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, molecular genetics, medical sciences, and protein chemistry. Recently, she has devoted her full attention to clinical/scientific writing and editing as a full-time medical writer.
